TrustLawyer Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2025

Welcome to TrustLawyer.

We are committed to building a transparent, secure, and efficient legal platform. These Terms of Service are designed to protect your rights, our partner lawyers, and the platform itself.

Top 3 things to know:
  • Transparency: We thoroughly verify every lawyer on the platform.
  • Data Protection: Your information is encrypted and only shared with your consent.
  • Our Role: TrustLawyer is a technology connection platform, not a law firm, and does not directly provide legal advice.
Please read the details below:

1. Scope of service

TrustLawyer provides an online platform connecting clients with verified lawyers. We do not provide legal advice ourselves and are not responsible for the content exchanged between parties.

2. User accounts

Users are responsible for safeguarding credentials and providing accurate, updated information. TrustLawyer may suspend accounts if violations or fraud are detected.

3. Rules for lawyers

Lawyers must provide valid licenses, follow professional ethics, and respond within reasonable timeframes. Violations may result in suspension or termination.

4. Payments & fees

In the current phase, payments are arranged and executed directly between the lawyer and the client. When our secure in-platform payment feature launches, we will notify you and update these terms to strictly protect both parties' interests.

5. Liability

TrustLawyer is not liable for damages arising from lawyer advice or client decisions. We strive for a safe experience but cannot guarantee uninterrupted platform availability.

6. Changes to terms

We may update these terms at any time. Notices will be sent via email or posted on the website. Continued use after updates signifies acceptance.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and source code on TrustLawyer are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part without written permission.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) Use the platform for illegal purposes; (b) Spam or harass other users; (c) Scrape data without permission; (d) Attempt to compromise TrustLawyer's security systems.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if these Terms are violated. You may also request account deletion by contacting support.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent court in Ho Chi Minh City.
